Battery backup lights are usually used for emergency lighting, in industries and warehouses that require backup illumination in case of a power outage. Most of the manufacturing and production units require different types of lighting and wallpacks that cater to their specific indoor and outdoor requirements.
The backup battery wallpacks are basically light fixtures that have a battery which constantly charges while the AC current is running. In any instance, when the electricity supply is disconnected or lost due to any reason, the battery instantly kick-starts the light. The battery backup wallpack runs for a minimum of 90 minutes in most cases and that is one reason these lights are used as emergency exit and fire exit lights. Additionally, warehouses and industrial units use the battery backup wallpacks as critical lighting fixtures in the task lighting zones to enable the workers to securely work on the machines and assembly parts, ensuring that in case of a power outage, the workers have time to switch off and leave safely.

Though these wallpacks look the same in terms of lighting and design, the additional battery backup has the capacity to work on DC current when the direct power is lost. It has varying degrees of lighting capacity but runs for a minimum of 90 minutes.
